what is PAINT CORRECTION

Paint correction is all about polishing. Polishing permanently removes swirls and scratches unlike a wax where it temporary fills it in. Polishing shaves a very fine layer of your clear coat off because all those scratches are in your clear coat. Depending on how deep the scratches and swirls are, certain ones might not be able to come out with polishing. This is where the addition of sanding takes place. By sanding and then polishing, this eliminates deep scratches that are on your vehicle. We understand that it can be hard to tell if there is any scratches or swirls on your vehicle, specially when they can occur from basic actions. For example, taking your vehicle through a car wash or using a snow brush in the winter time. For reasons as such, paint correcting your vehicle brings it back to that like-glass swirl-free finish.

The stage two package is targeted primarily towards cars that have moderate swirl marks and light scratches. This involves using 2 different polish and pad combinations; a cutting (abrasive) polish is used first to remove imperfections such as swirl marks, light scratches and other moderate paint defects. This is then followed up by a finishing polish and finishing pad to refine the paint work even further by removing any marring or holograms left by the previous step. We then follow up with a wax or paint sealant to protect the paint work. Estimated time to complete is 4hrs+.
